Estimation of possibility of femtoscopic measurements of identical and non-identical particle combination pairs in CBM

The Compressed Baryonic Matter (CBM) experiment will be one of the major pillars of the FAIR experimental facility in Darmstadt, Germany. It will investigate to the area of QCD phase diagram at high baryon chemical potential describing e.g. dense nuclear matter created as a result of heavy ion collision.
The following presentation discusses the possibility of femtoscopic measurements of identical (p−p,Λ−Λ) and non-identical (π−p,π−K,K−p) particle combinations in the CBM experiment at FAIR.
The presentation briefly describes the CBM experiment. We will consider single- and two-particle momentum distributions, finally taking into account femtoscopic correlations describing properties of source sizes of order∼10^(−15) m and times of order of ∼10^(-23) s, that cannot be accessed by any other experimental technique.
The results were obtained from Monte Carlo data simulated for √ sNN= 10 GeV Au+Au collisions, reconstructed UrQMD data in the CBM detector.
