Abstract:
The International Space Environment Services (ISES) is a space weather service organization currently comprised of 16 Regional Warning Centers, which main objective is to provide services to the scientific and user communities within their own regions. These services usually consist of forecasts or warnings of disturbances to the solar terrestrial environment. Polish RWC operates under the Heliogeophysical Prediction Service Laboratory (HPSL) in the Space Research Centre (SRC) ofthe Polish Academy of Sciences. It is involved in the current collection of a large volume of data exchanged with the international cooperation and received directly from various international observatories and Polish-operated geophysical stations. The main task of the RWC is to prepare daily forecasts are issued of space weather conditions and their influence on the performance of various technological systems. The HPLS staff is also involvement in wide range of technical projects related to space weather research and applications.
