Soft fault propagation analysis method for programmable logic of space instruments employing simulations in fuzzy logic domain.

The most common requirement for the space electronics is its dependability. For nowadays space applications implementing complex digital systems basing on FPGAs, reliability analysis becomes quite a chealenge. This presentation explains novel approach to the analysis of soft fault propagation in FPGA-based designs. Post synthesis or even post place and route netlist of particular design may be simulated in fuzzy logic domain with particular stimuli providing quantitive information about system depandability versus operation time.
