Algorithm of detecting rearrangements in DNA sequences

An algorithm to detect rearrangements in genomes will be presented. Methods to detect so-called genetic markers, based on computing the cross-correlation of two signals, will be introduced, as well as the way of deducing on basis of their location in the genome about possible rearrangements (inversions, deletions, transpositions, duplications). Moreover, examples of the results of the algorithm on real DNA sequences will be described.
