Multifractal spectra qualification of flame luminosity waveforms from of industrial boiler burners

Recent research shows that many combustion processes are highly inhomogeneous and nonstationary. This nonstationarity can be caused by various reasons: changes in the state of the external environment, the functional state of the equipment, the quality of the fuel used, the volume and speed of the incoming air (oxygen) flow. The attractiveness of any method of data processing depends on its universality. Multifractal formalism is one such universal approach. The article presents the results of analysis of the changes in the characteristics of the multifractal spectra of luminosity waveforms of the flame of industrial burner at different air flow levels in order to obtain an indicative space in solving classification problems.
