Degree of local depolarization of laser radiation fields, sorted by multi-layer birefringence networ of protein crystals

Theoretical bases for describing the fields of scattered coherent radiation with the help of a new correlation parameter - the local depolarization degree (LPD) are presented. The data of measurements of the coordinate distributions of LPD laser images of healthy and pathologically altered rat skin are presented. The magnitudes and ranges of statistical (first-fourth order) moments, correlation (correlation area) and fractal (slopes and dispersion of the extrema of the logarithmic dependences of power spectra) parameters of the coordinate distributions of LPD are investigated. Objective criteria for the diagnosis of oncological changes in the structure of rat skin have been determined.
