The implementation of a thermal imaging camera for testing the temparature of the cutting zone in turning

The paper presents the results of application of the thermal imaging camera FLIR SC 620 and Thermacam Researcher program for the analysis of temperature distribution in cutting zone in the case of the AMS 5643 steel turning. The experimental research was carried for two cutting speeds and different feed and depth of cut values.
