The FEM simulation of the thin walled aircraft engine corpus deformation during milling

The paper discusses the results of the experimental research performed by the finite element method usage. The deformation of the thin walled aircraft engine corpus was analyzed. In order to perform the analysis the geometric model of analyzed part was applied. Then, the boundary of the outer side of this part was loaded by the cutting force components occurring during milling. In the simulation software the material model of the analyzed part was also defined. By performing of the analysis it was possible to optimize the feed rate for the purpose to decrease the deformation of analyzed part.
