The parameters of a loaded photovoltaic (PV) module depend on the load resistance, light intensity and temperature of module.
Mostly affected by an increase in temperature is the open-circuit voltage, less affected is the short-circuit current.
In this paper the temperature sensitivity of a PV panel was determined. The effect of temperature on the maximum power output was evaluated.
Temperature at the points of the module was measured. To this aim the thermal imaging camera, thermocouple sensors and LabVIEW based DAQ system were used.
The results of the tests done on the loaded and lightened photovoltaic panel are presented.
