Monitoring and control system of charging batteries connected to a photovoltaic panel

In this paper the off-grid photovoltaic system which consists of PV panel, charge controller and battery is described. Original monitoring and control system which is based on LabView software and LabJack DAQ device is presented. Some problems with implementation of this system, providing the monitoring of electrical parameters, are mentioned. The results achieved during tests of the battery charger with embedded MPPT are also given.
